PHILOSOPHY

The Philosophy Unit coordinates programs on the BA, MA, and PhD level, covering the entire history of Western philosophy, from Ancient Greek philosophy to the present day, focusing both on the analysis of the classics from different periods and the discussion of issues addressed in contemporary philosophy. 

Our research activities are embedded in an international framework. They aim at engaging with the philosophical traditions and at confronting the challenges, theoretical and practical, that the present time poses. 

In terms of public outreach, the Philosophy Unit actively collaborates with local high schools and organises events, often in collaboration with experts from abroad, with the goal to promote and disseminate philosophical knowledge within the wider community.
